The owner is incredibly rude and treated me like I was trying to scam him! His mechanics disconnected my speedometer while doing electrical work. I understand that mistakes happen but just admit it and don't treat your customers like idiots. He actually said to me, "How do I know your speedometer wasn't broken before?" Really? Would I really be driving around with a broken speedometer? I'm still not even sure what the mechanics did. They were incredible vague when talking to them and on the invoice. The only reason I took it there is because AAA told me they were an approved shop! Do NOT take your vehicle there.

This guy is terrible. I was pretty sure I was being overcharged for a diagnostic, and when I asked for more explanation about his findings he just threw the paper at me and told me to read and wouldn't explain anything. Also the paper said the axel is "broke" which is not clear at all, so when I asked for more clarification he said "he's been in this business for 60 plus years and doesn't need to explain it." When it became quite clear that I was unhappy, he actually wouldn't accept my debit card as payment and made me go find an ATM and get cash. Overall he was extremely rude and I'm pretty sure he was just yanking me around because I'm a single young woman. As an addition... I later decided to google the problem he quoted me for. He claimed the axle needed replacing, and a quick google search revealed that that should cost somewhere between 600-800 for my car, including the typical cost of the part and labor. He quoted me above 1500$. Look, I can see if maybe it may be a bit more than a quick google search but for God's sake not 700-900 more. This guy is a total scam. Avoid at all costs. If my car broke down in front of his shop I would pay to have it towed elsewhere.

This place is "approved" by AAA so I had my car towed there on their recommendation as I'm from out of the area. I will give them credit for working on Saturday so I could get back on the road. However, they wouldn't answer any of my questions about what went wrong (my transmission dumped its fluid) or if there were any other parts that I should have looked at or replaced to prevent a similar breakdown again. The owner seemed more interested in playing used car salesman on a car he had out back than auto mechanic. I highly don't recommend.
